French marquetry, all are tightly integrated and dependent on each other. Whether it’s the cutting with the Chevalet de marqueterie or the glue, each has its necessary role. Obviously there is much more to the tools of marquetry. Here are just two of them. I will be happy to explain more about the equipment and how each is used.
Another important method is shading of certain pieces. Below is a skillet of hot sand for just that purpose.
